Project Phases 1. Determination of the system concept. Based on the technological options, the first phase includes a description of the functional requirements for traffic information systems including user requirements. Based on this description, a number of alternative solutions will be identified. One of these solutions will be chosen as the system concept. 2. System specification In this phase the prototype of the system is defined. 3. Prototype Development A completely functional prototype is developed and installed in several cars in this phase. 4. Testing The suitability of the system will be tested in this phase. 5. Information The prototype will be used in the process of informing the general public about the functionality of traffic information. It is important that the users experience the right functionality and user interfaces. |
