INFATI is managed by the Transport Research Groupin co-operation with the Laboratory for GeoInformatics and the GIS-plan research group at the Department of Development and Planning at Aalborg University.

The Transport Research Group has previously been involved in a similar traffic information project, i.e. the development of road pricing prototype. The INFATI project uses the knowledge gained from the road pricing project. 

The project manager of the INFATI-project is Associated Professor Harry Lahrmann from the Transport Research Group. Harry Lahrmann also worked on the FORTRIN project on road pricing. 

Teresa Boroch, MA (Social Science), from the Transport Research Group carry out the user testing of the INFATI system with a combination of questionnaires, focus group interviews and intensive interviews. 

Associated Professor Jens Juhland Assistant Professor Peder Cederholm from the Laboratory for Geoinformatics have developed the software for the INFATI-system. Jens Juhl has developed the software for Map Matching, and Peter Cederholm has developed the software for Dead Reckoning.
